?What is domestic worker contract insurance
The domestic workers’ contract insurance aims to preserve the rights of the employer and the worker by compensating them through multiple insurance benefits as stipulated in the insurance benefits policy during the first two years starting from the first working day of the domestic worker.
?Who benefits from insurance on domestic workers contracts
Domestic worker contract insurance protects the rights of both the employer and the domestic worker.
?Is insurance for domestic workers contracts mandatory for current domestic workers or when transferring sponsorship
Insurance is not mandatory for existing domestic workers or when transferring services.
?What is the procedure for issuing an insurance document
Through the recruitment journey on the Musaned platform: Selecting the employee's CV. The employer will be directed to the Najm portal to choose the insurance company. Return to the Musaned platform and finish the contracting and payment process. The recruitment office pays the insurance amount to the insurance company within a maximum of 15 days from the employer’s payment of the recruitment amount. The insurance company issues the insurance document. The insurance document is automatically activated upon the domestic worker’s arrival to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
? Can I insure my existing domestic worker contract
Existing domestic workers cannot be insured through the Musaned platform.
?When is the insurance policy activated
It will be automatically activated upon the worker’s arrival. Note that compensation in the event of a claim within the first 90 days will be through the recruitment office.
?What is the validity period of the insurance policy
The insurance policy is valid for two years, starting from the date of the domestic worker’s arrival in the Kingdom and the activation of the insurance policy, and it is subject to the insurance document policies.
?Where can I view the insurance data for my domestic workers
You can view your insurance data by logging in to the Musaned platform > Control Panel > Contracts > Request Details > Insurance. To view the insurance policy document, you can visit the service provider's portal.
?If any problem occurs during the first 90 days, who is responsible for compensation
In the event of any problem or entitlement to compensation during the first 90 days, the recruitment office should be contacted for compensation.
?What are the benefits covered by domestic worker insurance (for the worker and the employer)

The contract is cancelled through the Musaned platform. A request is submitted through the service provider’s portal, to cancel and refund the insurance amount for the remaining period
